DESCRIPTION:The Imagine a New Freedom Group holds an Alcoholics Anonymou
 s (AA) meeting every Saturday morning at the Fellowship Centre. In the m
 eeting\, individual sharing of recovery experience\, strength and hope i
 s guided a Step\, Tradition\, Promise\, and Principle. The 12 Steps outl
 ine the AA program of recovery. Each of these 12 Steps is associated wit
 h a Spiritual Principle and a Promise of improved life-experiences. The 
 Twelve Traditions provide guidelines for relationships between the AA gr
 oups\, AA members\, the global AA community and larger society. For exam
 ple\, the following would guide the discussion in this meeting every twe
 lve weeks:\n\nStep 1: We admitted we were powerless over alcohol -- that
  our lives are becoming manageable.\n\nPrinciple 1: Honesty\n\nPromise 1
 : We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness.\n\nTradition 1
 : Our common welfare should come first\; personal recovery depends upon 
 AA unity.\n\nAll are welcome at this people-helping-people-meeting\, reg
 ardless of the nature or extent of their addiction or recovery. There is
  no cost to attend\, although all AA meetings ask for voluntary donation
 s to support the meeting.
