DESCRIPTION:The Sunday Afternoon Meditation Group is a 60-minute meeting
  held each Sunday afternoon at the Fellowship Centre. The meeting focuse
 s on guided meditation and meditation training. In guided meditation\, m
 editative practice is shaped by another person’s voice. Because the mi
 nd tends to wander\, many find it easier to focus and relax when their m
 ind isn't entirely left to its own devices. Meditation training focuses 
 on techniques such as breathing and how to focus thoughts. Meditation ha
 s been successfully used to treat a variety of conditions including subs
 tance abuse disorders. All are welcome regardless of the nature or exten
 t of their addiction or recovery. There is no cost to attend\, although 
 voluntary donations help cover meeting costs. If you cannot attend in-pe
