DESCRIPTION:Serenity by Candlelight is an Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meet
 ing held each Friday evening at the Fellowship Centre. Those attending A
 A meetings share their experience\, strength and hope with each other so
  that they can stay sober and help others get and stay sober. This meeti
 ng\, illuminated only by candlelight\, starts with a brief meditation pe
 riod. This helps those attending relax and clear their minds of the ment
 al and emotional clutter of the day. The meeting chairperson asks those 
 in attendance for two topics to help focus the discussion\, although eve
 ryone is free to share whatever they need to say to a safe and understan
 ding group of like-minded people. Discussion topics might include\, for 
 example\, the benefits of gratitude and the importance of honesty. All a
 re welcome regardless of the nature or extent of their addiction or reco
 very. There is no cost to attend\, although all AA meetings ask for volu
 ntary donations to support the meeting.
