DESCRIPTION:The Girlfriend Hour is a 60-minute LADIES ONLY Alcoholics An
 onymous (AA) meeting held at the Fellowship Centre every Sunday morning.
  AA meetings provide peer-to-peer recovery support. The meeting is organ
 ized around the book A Woman’s Way Through the Twelve Steps. Books are
  available at cost\, or a copy of the section of the book being read/dis
 cussed is available. Ladies at the meeting read aloud and discuss sectio
 ns from the book. To illustrate\, topics read/discussed include:\n\n 	Lo
 oking Good on the Outside\n 	A New Feminine Form of Power\n 	Mother Guil
 t\n 	Over-Responsibility and Passivity\n 	Emotional Absence and Emotiona
 l Dishonesty\n\nAll women are welcome regardless of the nature or extent
  of their addiction or recovery. The book A Woman’s Way Through the Tw
 elve Steps is inclusive of all addictions\, for example\,  alcoholism\,
  eating disorders and drug addiction. There is no cost to attend\, altho
 ugh all AA meetings ask for voluntary donations to support the meeting.
